3 pages, 2 Thiros, one Meme

At long last.....

This piece of work has been in the making for 6 months, on and off again. I actually endeavoured to do this meme almost one year ago now, I had the drawings to every frame drawn up in pencil, but I ended up abandoning this project when uni started up, and when I decided that I'd give this meme another go, I couldn't find my original drawings.

I started drawing these during the last uni holidays, so that would be about half a year ago now. I drew out each frame on a separate sheet of paper, inked and scanned each one in, and over the last half a year I began colouring it.

While I was colouring, I was looking through all Nyu's favourited Memes and I noticed that all the previews to the memes were very small and thin. I wanted to make mine a bit different, and it struck me that I could make my meme in the the form of a comic.

And so, after colouring every frame, I started to put it into a comic-style picture ---- and now here are the results. Hope you guys like it

Ah and I should add: yes in the first frame,. I did say I was a full-time piece of ass by night. That's an inside joke which I'm now going to let dA on: when I was in Europe, the girl who I was travelling with and I watched heaps of MTV, and they have this great show called Busted I think where two girls get interviewed by one bloke to decide which girl gets a date, and (apparently) unbeknowst to the girls, their every word is being heard by the bloke's best friend who is sitting in a van and running their words through a lie detector.

Anyway, the first girl introduced herself in the normal way -- you know, "Hi, my name's Tracy, I'm 22 and I'm a fitness instructor". But when the second girl introduced herself, she goes, "Hi, my name is Stacey, I'm 23 and I'm a full-time piece of ass". Ever since then it's been a running joke between us.
